I would like to know how many injuries we have this year and how many of those were starters?
I would also like to know how our injury situation compares with other MAC schools?
I also know in today's world finding out these stats is probably not likely.
It just seems to me that we seem to have many injuries each year which hurts our W-L record.

It's hard to tell whether a player is injured or being disciplined. It seems that more than a few players were being held out for disciplinary issues. For example, a couple games ago Allison suddenly showed up in the second half with no reason given, I think. Injuries are something you can't avoid. Disciplinary issues, on the other hand, are something coaches can maybe head off before they happen.

Is there anywhere that we can find out who is injured and what that injury is?
We hear all the time about the many injuries we have but are unable to specify the who, their position, starter, and whether they are lost for the year?
I know I asked this question earlier, and wonder if we had this info we could better understand our current W - L record.
I for one is frustrated in that we are not given these details.

I've always assumed I had just missed this info. Is Julian Ross out for the year?

Not sure that his lack of participation has been totally injury related.

Might go to “covers.com”. Then click on “sports”, then “NCAAF”, then “injuries”.

Can’t vouch for the site’s legitimacy. I’ve been there before but really haven’t followed up to determine whether or not there is any value. Looking at our information there today, even if what is there is correct, I’d be surprised if this would be an all-inclusive list. Probably another reason to question the site is the limitations on health information that can be released. Interestingly (if they are indeed a legitimate and respectable site), Danneker appears to be more of in a questionable status this week rather than listed as out, However, I believe it’s been said elsewhere on the board that he is out for the season.

Well for starters on the OL...Danneker, Sink and Rodgers are all out for the season.

On Defense Thompson is out for the season and Jamal Hudson?

But yes, there are so many others that are dinged up it's hard to keep track... those listed above appear to be the major, season ending injuries.

The 5 you mention here are killers. Thompson really came into his own last year and Hudson is a veteran. Those linemen are all experienced, tough guys. I feel like our running attack has been solid but with those guys, think of the holes Allison, Armani and Tuggle could have had.

I’ve always taken into account injuries when looking at performance, but many on here don’t. It’s too bad we don’t have these guys, but as they say next man up. Clemson has 17 schollie players not playing and LSU apparently doesn’t even havevenough to have a full practice. It’s defiantly part of the game but it’s got to affect performance.

I noted the ESPN headline today “ Injuries limit Cardinals, who suffer first loss of season to Packers”
