Excellent loss to add to the Tim Albin Farewell Tour. Please Jule Cromer, we have seen enough. Show us that you care about the fans of the Bobcats and get rid of this coaching staff while we have time to go after a decent head coach.

They didn't do as badly as I thought, but...

Can't win after being up 21-0 after one quarter.

Can't win after being up 26-10 after three quarters.

Can't win with an offensive lineman blocking in the end zone on a pass play.

Can't win when you keep jumping offsides and give the opposition another chance at a FG.

Can't win when coaches are standing in the sideline white zone and run into a ref.

Discipline and communications on this team are sh*t.

The coaching staff doesn't seem to have a clue to counter the opponents' adjustments.

Once again, we snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

According to the UB fan site we are a 9 point underdog.
We will probably be an underdog each week for the rest of the season except for BG and maybe the bye week, although after today we'll probably be a 10-pt dog to the bye.

Can we leave him in Buffalo? Though if any fans traveled they may try to send him over the falls in a barrel…

Why give him a barrel? He doesn't even seem to deserve that.

Despite appearing more competitive, we continue to find a way to lose whether that be bad coaching, lack of adjustments, a zillion penalties...the list goes on.

Someone said it in another post but we all appeared to have such high expectations for this team when in reality we are mediocre at best and have fallen all the way to the bottom in record time. It sucks and not sure things will be getting better anytime soon. Just take a look at our incoming 2022 recruiting class or lack there of. We are in trouble folks.

Badly coached teams lose games they should win.

That's us.

Heads need to roll. They paying this man over 500k and he is 1 and 6 after all those year with solich recruiting. The talent can not drop that fast. These last two were winnable games.

But even Solich recruiting classes were never top of the MAC.

True. Solich had a knack for getting more out of players than what seemed to be there, or maybe saw more in players than the "experts" who rate them and was able to nurture that. The players also loved and respected him, two things that seem to be lacking with the current head man.

I actually would have gone on 4th and 1 before we punted to them. Rogers would have found a way to get the first down. 6 and a half minutes was a ton of time and the defense was looking tired and awful.

Totally agree with you.

Going to be even harder with the current season we're having but I really hope Tettleton can be a huge help in the recruiting department.

Including those heads that negotiated the contract! Does anybody believe Albin would have actually turned down a one year interim appointment! Who else would have wanted him?

See my post on pg 3. You could see this coming going into halftime.

By the way, for us the old adage field goals are for losers came true today. Fourth and 1 on the 5 and you kick it? That is for losers.

I said the same thing to my wife and son as I watching the game via our Apple TV. However, that can be debated, but the inexcusable penalties cannot. Two offsides on the final FG? Bench penalties.

I can honestly say, without one shred of doubt in my mind, that Tim Albin is the worst head coach I have ever seen at any level of football. I'm not even kidding or exaggerating. I've never seen a coach get less out of a team than he's getting out of these Bobcats.

Obviously if we don't convert at the 31 it's probably game over too. But had they scored we would have had one more possession as they'd not have run 6:39 off the clock. And although some seem to be souring a bit on Armani I thought he had a good game minus the fumble. But the almost 90 yards in penalties was horrible. And the facemask call on Houston was a killer as we had them stopped on the 3rd and 10.

He is so mealy and timid I just can’t even picture of him playing hardball at the negotiating table.

Of course I’ve been less than impressed with the lady at the helm of the department as a whole.

I've become more in Armani's camp over the last few weeks. I mentioned elsewhere that he was a couple dropped passes away from an 8 of 10 day and had a TD pass called back when Amburgey was blocking five yards in the end zone. We're still a bit one-dimensional with him, but less so than we were earlier in the season.

Looking at his employment contract, I think he has an agent who did the negotiations. There's some sports company mentioned in the contract, in addition to him and the university.

In all fairness, cleve was much worse. I mean, he had us onside kicking to start the second half a few times.
