Question: Has anyone done much tailgating for the weeknight games? I've been a regular tailgater for the Saturday games, but have never tried it for one of the weeknight games.

I have a group of buddies coming down for the Fiami game and am considering trying it (weather depending). With my usual MACtion pre-game, Jackie O's uptown, closed on Tuesdays and the game being pre time-change - the thought crosses my mind.

I don't believe TailGreat is even open for weeknight games ... another giant middle finger from athletic dept for those who paid a decent chunk of change for one of those parking passes

The saddest sentence I’ve ever typed:

I plan on tailgating at our game at BG on Black Friday. The entire time I’m packing the motorhome for the trip to watch two horrendous teams play in the middle of a windy parking lot I’ll convince myself I’m doing it ironically.

And I shall raise a glass to you that night!

Weather permitting it should be open.

The email sent with pre-season rules and reminders said Tailgreat is open for the 4 Saturdays.

I'm not making any plans to be in the field for the Miami game.

This is fascinating. I guess they're anticipating the standard mid-week MACtion crowds and aren't going to bother with it?

Gotta love that great TV deal.

With the rain we are going to receive this week, wouldn't matter if they planned to have the fields open for Tuesday night.

Yep - good point. Tailgreat might be a mud hole. I have an orange lot pass, so we'd be over there anyway. I asked a couple of the 110 members last week if they do the drumline concert pre-game by the orange lot. They said no. I'd say at this point, it's looking like pre-game at Little Fish and/or the JO's taproom. My group is loaded with beer nerds.

I’d put in a word for Devil’s Kettle if you’ve never been. Not sure about food (they might have a truck there sometimes?) but their beer is too notch

Mea Culpa.

Gameday Prep email today says Tailgreat opens at 4:00. Other donor lots at 5:00.

Is two days enough time for sufficient drying? Somebody gonna find out.

If you weren't at the Syracuse game, there was no lighting brought in for that night game. Be prepared.

Wishing you well in your endeavors!

Wellll, we're going to do it. Jackie O's afternoon visit followed by some brats tailgating.

Crap, I hope we beat those guys.

Why do you want to tailgate with brats? Let the little monsters tailgate by themselves.

Unless they are making an exception for the game today, I believe both Jackie O's uptown locations are closed on Tuesdays.

Glad we did it! The early evening before the game was nice, if you were dressed for it . My non- bobcat friends were amazed by how nice the tailgating area behind Walter is. They're more used to a parking lot setting than our campus. A little bit hoarse today from yelling at Martin about his fourth down play calling and his ridiculous sweater vest. It was well worth it!

Tailgating area behind Walter? I'm not familiar with how that's set up.

Orange lot, across South Green Drive from the stadium. Folks set up in the trees area behind Walter and next to aquatic center
