I think the only realistic way for him to make the team coming out of camp is if Duke Johnson's hamstring issue is worse that initially reported. The Browns are really high on Dontrell Hilliard, which is why they've talked about trading Duke in the first place.

That said, if he gets a lot of carries in the first two pre-season games, at least he has a chance to show what he's got to other teams or merit on a spot on the practice squad. I'd be beyond thrilled if he makes the team, but it's a very tough road ahead.

But, it goes on to say that RB is a top heavy group, with Chubb, Johnson, Hunt and Hilliard the clear leaders. There is no mention of him in the reports for days 6-8.
