Before this season started we were told that both Curtis & Armani made progress in their respective areas of need.
In the first 3 game we haven't seen Curtis improve in his running ability or Armani in his passing.
Long season ahead of us.

This alternating QBs between plays in the same series is not a way to win football games IMHO. After that second series when Rogers looked so good, even though we came away empty handed due to a penalty and bad kick, I would have let me play the rest of the game. I did like using Rourke as a passing WR (or whatever position he was lined up in). But our real problem is our porous defense. Boy do we stink! We seem either a tad slow or we don't know how to wrap up tackles, or a bit of both.

My last comment on this subject!
We are now soooo predictable with these 2 QB's that an opponents D can easily defend against either one. They know Armani will only run and Rourke will only pass. Seems to simple to me.

It's probably easier to make Armani a better passer than to make Kurtis a better runner.

I agree with OCF about the D. Too many plays vs Louisiana where we had to tackle a guy two, three, or four times.

At what point in this unfolding disaster do they play Harris? Not rhetorical, a serious question.

The problem is not the QB. The only reason to play Harris is that his skill set lines up with the offense we run. The reports last year had him well behind the other two during camp. Preseason reports last year had him playing well. I don't mind playing him, but don't expect him to find a way to get the defense off the field or fix the O-line problems or address the talent level at WR or kick/punt or...

I don't know whether it is over coaching, under coaching, or there is simply no coaching, but the QB play has been dreadful up to now. Someone is just going to have to let one of these kids play ball, come what may. At this point, I would just let whoever is quarterback call whatever they want to call from the line of scrimmage. If nothing else, perhaps, this might put some fun back in the game for them.

How about lack of talent?

Wasn't there a season earlier in Frank's tenure when we couldn't get the QB right and we played three different guys at some point? I wanna say Boo Jackson, FEBUS, and/or Brandon Jones were involved. Hell maybe even a 4th if Theo Scott were there.

At what point do we think about the fact that Armani will not be around next year and we look at Harris for some meaningful game experience?
If we are sitting at 1-7 after the Kent game it may be time to start finding the future QB.

BTW, those who have insisted Armani can't pass should apologize. He threw some nice balls last week.

+1 I'm wondering where the myth started that he couldn't pass. He may not have as good an arm as Rourke Jr., but he has better execution and judgement at this point. Rourke might have a brighter future as a passer, but right now I think Rogers is a better passer, runner and all-around QB.

I don’t think we should revealing embarrassing information about our own players like this.

I don’t trust a quarterback who thinks anything we type is worth his time.

When was the last time Rourke had a 99.9 yard TD run?

He looked good last week but right now that looks to be a fluke. Can you say after today that there is the slightest confidence in our passing game? It's abhorrent. Buffalo adjusted to our run game and we were shut the f*** down.

Armani was 6 of 10 today, with a couple drops. He could easily have been 8 of 10. And of course there was the TD pass on 4th down that was called back because Amburgey was blocking in the end zone. So overall he did well passing. But once Buffalo shut down the run, our O line couldn't handle the pressure from Buffalo's rush. They were constantly in the backfield and sacked him a couple times.

We seriously need some QB competition next year.

None of this handing someone the job just because of “potential”.

Rourke wasn't accurate today. It would be odd if the cold bothers him since he is Canadian.

No, you need a QB. There was competition and they all did what they could. Just where we are.

I think you misspelled "the last two games" as "today".
