Here's the latest:
Rourke: 6 games, 29 of 47 passing for 395 yds, 2 TDs, 3 INTs; 9 carries for 64 yds, 1 TD; is questionable Saturday's game at Toronto with a right shoulder injury; BC is 4-6, third place in the West.
Irons: 4 games, 21 carries for 106 yds; 19th in the CFL in rushing; 6 receptions for 37 yds; on Hamilton's 1-game injured list.
Papi: 4 games, 10 receptions for 89 yds, 1 TD; 11 carries for 36 yds; on Hamilton's practice roster; Hamilton is 5-5 in third place in the East.
Ouellette: 3 games, 6 carries for 30 yds; on Toronto's practice roster; Toronto is 6-4, tied for first in the East
Sayles: 10 games, 16 tackles, 4 sacks; tied for 10th in the CFL in sacks; Winnipeg has clinched the West Division with a 10-1 record; have a bye week.
Rourke had a chance when they pulled the starter in the third quarter of last week's game. Unfortunately, he got hurt soon afterward. He's been playing on short yardage and goal line situations and has been effective. With BC's offense (and season) fading, Rourke's opportunity as a starter seems like it is coming sooner rather than later.
