There's an article in today's The Record by Eric Olsen of the AP entitled
"NIL was a factor signing day".
(Sorry it won't link)

It may be up on Muck Rack.

Interesting read on how NIL is impacting recruiting.

I'm sure it's affecting the big boys, but I haven't heard much about any real impact in the MAC. The only OU player I knew of with a deal was the one that BA signed up, but that was the last I ever heard about that and I have no idea what he actually does to promote BA.

I can see it making a difference for G5 schools in larger markets (e.g., Buffalo, Temple, USF) where there's more NIL money floating around. They might get a few players because of NILs that they might not otherwise. But for the vast majority of G5 schools, and even non-elite players, it'll be the quality of the school and the program that makes the difference.

Clearly, you haven't seen the student athlete shirts available at ShopAthensOhio.com or been to titsworth69.com

I would imagine the money our athletes get from t-shirt deals are peanuts, probably not gonna affect an athlete's decision to choose OU for that.
