I don’t hear anything out here in Iowa but there is a wind blowing southeast this morning so I can only surmise it must be the suck of Miami after last nights win over them.

Wouldn't "the road to Detroit is on the road" be a bit more appropriate? As in Kalamazoo and Buffalo?

Lose both of those and the road ends. Lose one without some help and the road also ends.

But let's savor the victory over Miami Tuesday for another day or two!
