The website is currently showcasing the highlights of our 1988 game at BGSU.

BG was 0-4 going into the game. They beat us 42-zip.

I was in attendance and distinctly remember the BG student cheer, "O-U-Gotta-Be-Kidding!"

Appears they're just doing a Select-All on the video archive. They just unloaded a bunch of videos from the 2004 football season in the last hour, which had some good moments (win at Kentucky, shutout over Buffalo), but mostly not so good moments. Don't yet see the Homecoming highlights of BG opening a can on us. Would be nice since I was hungover as hell for that one and have very few conscious memories.

We are indeed doing a select-all on highlights. We have too much footage not to share. We're in the middle of working on the playlist, uploading everything, etc. Stick with us while we get it all up.

I was there, too, with a friend and his brother -- both BG grads. Was not a pleasant experience!

Presenting: the third worst call to go against Ohio in Bobcat football history, behind the safety at Buffalo and the delay of game at Minnesota.

https://youtu.be/Cl__YSslhKM?t=3486

Side note, is there any other footballer in Ohio history that might be able to touch Scott Mayle in a 100M sprint? Papi? Chris Garrett? Cochran?

Ohio loses in football (or basketball) at Bowling Green. . . and SBH was in attendance. What are the odds? About as likely as Court St. being loud, overcrowded and crazy for Halloween every October?

Where would you place the infamous "roughing the snapper" call against Ohio in that Akron game in the Knorr Era?

I only saw one year of Knorr ball so I don't remember if that occurred in the 2004 game featuring Chuck Frye.

Hmmm...I recall a roughing the snapper during the Grobe era. Or am I wrong about that?

Yes, Grobe vs. Lee Owens at Peden.

Yes, that was the second time I’d ever heard it called. The first was a game at UA. I think it was in Knorr Year One. I believe it cost us the game. Anyone else remember this? Or, am I hallucinating?

May have been infamous, but it was a foul. And it was Jim Grobe that happened to and not Brian Knorr.

Why was that a bad call? Back then that was clearly a penalty, and a violation of the rules.
