After seeing press reports on Armani Rogers, I wouldn't be surprised if he gets picked as a receiver. Probably seventh round, maybe late sixth. He's had private workouts with at least the Chargers, Dolphins and Seahawks, and caught the attention of several teams with a good week of practice at the Shrine game. He was at the UCLA pro day and apparently had decent numbers (4.56 in the 40, 4.31 short shuttle, 7.2 three-cone, 34-inch vertical jump, 10'10" long jump). Not that he could be another Julian Edelman but some team might give him a shot.

given his lack of experience it makes little sense being drafted but sounds like an ideal FA. probably better for him since he can choose the location.

The NFL likes to ride trends. With the success of Logan Thomas the former Vtec qb as a TE with Washington has more teams looking. I'm still thinking UDFA, but will not be surprised if he is taken in rounds 5-7.

Exactly, these players are more athletic and faster than many traditional TE's.

The MAC has three players in the first three rounds, all from Michigan schools. Second Round: WMU WR Skyy Moore taken 54th by KC and CMU OT Luke Goedeke taken 57th by Tampa. His fellow Chippewa OT Bernhard Raimann was taken in the third round (77th) by Indy. Last four rounds today.

Listen I was a general in the Armani Army all season because little Rourke is a bum but in what world did anyone here think he would actually be drafted at a position he has never played a single down at?

I wanted him to play TE last season. Could’ve thrown teams off seeing him lined up out there as TE.

If we're being PC, little Rourke is "unhoused".

That would have requited creative, out-of-the-coach's-box thinking.

Yeah, he would have to go over the middle instead of UTM.
