We're moving to Tailgreat from the Orange Lot this year, so we'll be the newbies over there. Orange lot is a beautiful place to tailgate and we enjoyed the drum line concert pre-game, but we want to try a more lively, social setting this year. As the newb, I have a couple questions: What time does the lot usually open for evening games like this Saturday? Also, I noticed that my electronic pass has a "seat number". Is that a placeholder or has Tailgreat moved from first come to reserved slots?

Looking forward to meeting some new folks Saturday. It's going to be a beautiful day!

Lots open at 10 am this week. Standard has been 8 hours before kick.

Spots are not numbered. Today's email says there are lines painted and seems to indicate we can pick our spot.

I bought a pass for this lot for FAU and NIU. Mine also has a seat number on it. Maybe it is just a count so they don't oversell the lot.
One place on the OHIO website, it says "first come first served" another place says spots are reserved. The cost for single game Tailgreat parking pass is $40.00. Guess I will find out on Saturday.

I contacted the athletics department about the “seat number” reference on the pass. Their response: “You can disregard that, it's just a quirk of our system. In order to send out a pass we have to have it assigned to a specific "seat”
