Great News on Tuggie.
Love that they note he beat out States back Master Teague.

Thanks for posting, Bobcatblitz. I'm not surprised at this level of success. I think he'll go far in his pro career. Another thing he has going in his favor in addition to the stats listed is that he is quite smart. He's not your stereotypical "dumb jock."

He's listed as the #5 RB on Da Bears' depth chart. They play KC tomorrow (Aug 13) at 1:00 on NFL Net. He's no. 30 on your program.

He got in for part of one drive about midway through the 4th quarter and had 17 yds on four carries. He had a nice 10-yd run for a first down and another good one for about four.

He wound up with six carries for 22 yds, second-best on the team. Ebner had six carries for 31; Herbert and Evans each had seven for 20.

He survived the first round of cuts and is on the Bears' 85-man roster. Five more players have to be cut by next Tuesday.

Ebner being such a utility knife is gonna hurt his ability to get reps.

Unfortunately, I think the best he can do is hope to hold off Evans as the 4th RB behind Ebner, and David Montgomery, Khalil Herbert during the regular season.

Similar situation happening in Cleveland. Not sure how you can keep 5 RB's, but it will be interesting to see what teams do.

Tuggle got 41 yds on 12 carries to lead da Bears in their win over the Seahawks.

This has most of his carries: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2TiNNSpLONA

He had one carry to the Seattle one yard line, then for some reason da Bears threw on the next two downs (incomplete) and he was stood up at the goal line. He also was on the punt receiving team and ran into the return man, which caused a muff that Seattle recovered. It led to their only TD. Otherwise, he seemed to have a good game.

So glad to hear this. Tuggle is one of my favorite recent Bobcat players. Here’s hoping he makes it big!

Some of the comments on the Bears site says running back is arguably the deepest position on the team, so if that’s so, it’s going to be tough to make it thru. We’ll see

Longer he stays on Bears, better the chances of another team picking him up IF he is cut.

Seven of the yards came on one of his three carries.

Hope he at least makes the practice squad.
