Don't disagree, Jeff. However, it's a two-way dance. There has to be interest coming from those in the portal to join OUr program in SE Ohio and play for Tim Albin.

Searching the old twitter shows Pierre Kemeni with 1 FBS offer (Texas State) and 5 FCS offers. Looks like Jett Elad has 3 FCS offers as well. Haven't seen anything else on the other portal guys.

He played only one year of high school ball but was very productive.

Can’t speak to him specifically, but offers are self reported (by the kid/athlete), and have been known to include walk-on/non-scholarship offers

This seems like a commentary on the scouting service rankings of three-star recruits. This guy was a highly regarded recruit that had impact MAC player written all over him. I thought he and Elad would be impact players by the end of 2021. I wish him well at his new school.

Exactly. He originally committed to Michigan State before coming to the Bobcats.

First he was headed to Michigan St. Then signed with Ohio University followed by a transfer to Alabama A&M. At this rate, I can plan on seeing him play just down the road for Dennison in a about 3 years.

By "down" I trust you mean to a lower division (or subdivision) rather than a lesser team. We were 131st in the final Sagarin ratings and there were 20 1AA teams ahead of us.
