with the 40-14 trashing they suffered at the hands of a mediocre UCF at home tonight. I thought that FAU was a team with a pulse when we beat them, now I'm not so sure.

since tarnish is a bad thing, shouldn't your subject line be "FAU win is tarnished?"

After 2021 - a win is a win and very valuable to me. FAU is decent. They didn't look great against UCF but were a fine opponent for us.
The opening W for the Bobcats was a nice one. We lost to Duquesne last year. All Ws are a step in the right direction after the 2021 disaster.

Yes, I was trying to be funny too late at night. Since some questioned the legitimacy of the win to begin with. Would normally have said "luster is off," but I tried to get cute.

More about my journalist dad. If I had misused "tarnish" like that he would have said something like, "Please don't tell people your last name."

Some tarnish might be off the Penn St loss, given what they did at Auburn yesterday.

Really? These last two games played out just like most thought they would. We were outclassed by superior opponents.
