Student turnout looked good, though skewed as always because band day eats so much of the East grandstand. Was there a big halftime exodus?

Was there a lot of Buckeye red around town?

How were concessions lines? Improved from last season?

Crowd sounded intense at the right moments of the second half. 20K seems solid considering rain and low expectations going in, but again, I think that includes band day.

Fairly low tailgating crowd prolly due to rain as much as anything. Pretty decent halftime exodus. Concession lines not too bad due to low crowd size. No way there was 20K there - I would estimate 15K tops. Those there though did make some decent noise.

I and other classmates showed up in droves for the game and quite a few including myself stayed after half and through the rain (Although some followed the halftime exodus tradition and some left later as a result of the rain) We had a lot of fun being loud and we did manage to get some airtime on ESPN. A lot of jubilation after the game headed home through East Green - ran into a few of the football recruits that were visiting and they were ecstatic! Hopefully this helps get us a few commitments for next year. I think we were solid with noise all night.

Kudos to the student section. I was on the other side of Peden and was impressed with the noise coming from the students and, though there was a halftime exodus, it didn't seem as large as usual. Keep it up; it helps OUr Cats,

I thought the turnout was good considering the holiday, the rain and the O$U game. Students were louder and more enthusiastic than expected and the halftime exodus was not too big considering all the above factors.

PA system didn’t work the whole first drive and them made enough noise turning on and off that I wish it didn’t work. I did not try a soft pretzel, but I was happy to get Jackie O’s in the Tower Club (though they did cut us off basically at the start of the third quarter). It was nice to be back in Peden after a long hiatus.

Agree that the damp weather seemed to impact the tailgating scene. Silver lining was that we avoided the first game baking in the sun scenario. Student turnout was good and they were loud. Reserved side was it's usual dead zone. Jackie O's was back pouring draft - Art was there personally working the taps. I thanked him for being back out this year. All in all a good time.

I was very pleasantly surprised by the students. It was a pretty huge number for the 1st half. Normal early 3rd exodus. But by the 4th quarter there were probably 100-200 still there and engaged in the game...which sounds ridiculous to get excited about but it was better than a lot of other games in the past. Consider the rain and the OSU game and it's even better.

Concessions were out of mostly everything by the end of the 3rd quarter, I think they even closed early. I think a lot of people ended up eating their dinner at the 6:00 game, moreso than the usual 2:00 games that they may have budgeted on.
