Give me a name of a player or two in his first or second year of college football (true freshman, redshirt freshman, or true sophomore) who will break through to be an impactful player right away. The way AJ Ouellette, Quentin Poling, Javon Hagan, etc did.

I'll say Miles Cross and CJ Hankins.

I'm big on Roman Parodie. Dude showed a lot of flashes last year in being a threat at CB and he has First Team All-MAC potential if he keeps it up.

Well, I will just be quite. Apparently commenting on players is not allowed without assumptions.

Hearing this staff is stuck in their ways, they will play favorites. Family member close friend with a GA, also spoke to a parent of OL starter, both love Hankins and thinks he should be the backup at Mike or be the next man up if the continued LB plays carried over . But, there is alway a but, one stated he was doubtful he will even dress because he is a walk on , they will only dress scholarships. GA stated Hankins is hands down one of the most physical players on the roster and his mind was blown he is not on special teams, being he may be the best KO guy thru camp. Added quote “sending teammate on ambulance ride for targeting in last scrimmage sent him back to the bottom, BS politics and favorites. CJ is not a ass kisser, he keeps his mouth shut and works, just what we need”

Ohio is only place where we give up 276 rush yards a game, then bring in one of the best run stoppers on Ohio High School History from a powerhouse, (that Cincy and Vady offered PWO but chose OU, then not dress him because he’s been in trouble for being to physical multiple times. One would think old school Nowinsky would override Faanes who has LBs an Special teams.

I see how this season will go already.
Not sure I would go bragging about putting a cheap shot on a teammate and sending them to the hospital, no place on a team for that. And interesting, it's a new Defense, with a new DC, and a new position coach. So your comment about "stuck in their ways, does not hold water". Sorry, your son feels he's being slighted.

Wrong. But, I will go ahead and delete so no one takes that out of context. Comments you have made are ridiculous. You should not make so many wrong assumptions but again I’ll delete. This is not a new staff, far from new. On the record Nowinsky maximizes his Defensive Line and Linebackers so I am confident in that whole defense. The right guys will be playing Saturday.

Where are you seeing he got offers from Cincinnati and Vanderbilt?

Looks like he got a lot of low FCS offers and Akron. Went to Brown, where he played no snaps, before coming back to Ohio.

They said that he had Preferred Walk On offers from Cincinnati and Vandy, not scholarships. But yes, played none at Brown, is in his first year here, and the parent here obviously believes they should go from walk on to scholarship and starter that quick. He can bring the wood, but seems to lack footspeed, which is basically why he did not have higher level scholarships. He has a very good chance to develop.

About 5 inches and 70 pounds away from being Khalil Mack.

And my young star: BANGURA

Because if he's not, we're gonna be looking for a new coach by week 3.
