Sorry, but I've gone over the pessimist side. I know I'm usually Mr. Sunny and Rainbows, but the degree to which our defense sucks was incomprehensible to me before the start of the season, and even after the FAU win, which provided warning signs that I chose to ignore. I'm taking the blinders off now and looking at the situation with both eyes open. I don't like what I see. I truly hope that I'm wrong!
Defensively, what happened saturday was so beyond absurd that it couldn't possibly happen again, right? well? I don't know, do you?
Honestly, it would be nearly impossible, even if we learned nothing, to duplicate that performance. Kent is a better team than Fordham, but do they have Fordham's offense? I don't know. I still expect points from them and I expect us to score on them, but closer and lower scoring than last week. 38-31 KSU is my pick. #MACtion #DefenseOptional
