Great place to watch a game and a great campus setting

We walked their campus before the game in 2012 and also, looking for a souvenir to celebrate our victory, went to that area where we visited a tent that was set up to sell merchandise. The place was packed, basically elbow to elbow (about as busy as the OU athletics spring sale when it first opens). Their fans were very respectful and complimentary of the Bobcats’ performance and genuinely nice to us. I always kind of wondered however if they were always that way or if the fact they were so “under the microscope” as a program had something to do with it.

This is the 7th time I have put together a big trip to our non-conference "big" game.

16 of us are heading out. I rented two full size RV's knowing that there is almost no hotel option and it is pure hell getting out of state college after the game. One way in and out.

Staying at the county fairgrounds 12 miles out. Plan on packing coolers and walking around the tailgate areas until we run into people kind enough to offer us refuge.

Looking forward to it.

you wont have any problem finding a group to welcome you in to their tailgate. it is not like your coming from " michigan" When we go we stay in Altoona about a hour out. We have had almost zero problems get in and out of state college. it is much better now that they have basically made almost all the roads one way on each side of stadium on game days.

I guess the problems I ran into were both O$U games and it was tough getting out. But that’s been a long while ago too.
