Same story as last year... 0 sacks, 0 tackles for loss. I'm just watching the gamecast so I can't tell if we are actually putting pressure on them or not.

Lots of pressure on him now.

Don't like the call on Ben Johnson, even after the explanation of the new rule.

The concept of “finish him” is lost in the new rules. This next drive is important to the Cats. They need to move the ball, run some clock and put some points on the board.

Big time run by Bangura, preceded by a big time throw, and followed by one. Bangura now over 100 yards, and Rourke has thrown for 342 with 4 TDs. It has to be up there in the all-time Ohio QB games.

Ohio needs serious work on kickoff returns. They have started inside their own 25 over and over.

Why don't Ohio's kick returners just fair catch the kickoff or take a knee? It comes out to the 25. I haven't seen our guys do that since they changed the rule. In an onside kick formation you have one guy back and that's all he has to do.

We damn near grabbed defeat from the jaws of victory. Glad for the win, but geeeez.

Hats off to the Bobcats. Great to have a win. A lot of improvement from last year, but a lot of work still to do. I just hope we still have a roster left after both Penn State and Iowa State blast through us. If this team is able to stay healthy, we just might be competitive this year in the MAC. Go 'Cats.

Had ‘em all the way? Well at least we won. Rourke II looks like the real deal. This year may not be as bad as some predicted.

Huge letdown.

We need Bangura to be a big playmaker this year
This kid is going to be so good we might only have him for this season.

Good win to start year. A big step forward after last year. Albin's first non-conference win and it was MAC's first win over a FBS school this season. 41 points and big game from the QB. Hope this builds their confidence in close games. That has been our style close games in recent years.

Glad to see the win and Rourke looked good. It was encouraging to see some explosive plays too. But wow was I scared during those last few minutes!

Fixing this is job #1. The offense was great at times. The defense was great at times. Kick returns were just plain bad. Good special teams play makes a difference in close games, and can make games close that should not have been close.

Rourke will be offensive player of the week in the MAC--QB rating of meteoric 203.5!

Perhaps we may be able to outscore several MAC teams this season to win a few more than the 3 I predicted.

As mentioned by others, running back durability is a key.

BOBCATS 1-0. Way to go!

Statistics show very few take the fair catch option.
