The fun thing about the MAC is that almost all games could go either way, every single week, and a team rarely runs away with a championship. The only real gimmee is "Akron will lose", and even that is not a sure thing, and they might actually win a game somewhere along the line.

Its tough to have an opinion on a full MAC slate this year. All I can say though is if Buffalo loses to CMU and Ohio can get the win against Miami that all but locks up the East because Ohio would only need to win 1 of its 2 remaining games against Ball St or BGSU. That is something I'm reasonably confident the Cats can handle.

Akron will pitch the upset this week.

They had been close for a few games and then put in a stinker vs Miami. Here they rebound against the bottom feeder offense and their potent passing attack with multiple targets is enough for Zips to win their first MAC contest in a while.

I thought about it but EMU's 6'7" TE is just too good against Akron defense.

Game #3 Ball St 21 - Toledo (4th)

Ball St just got a sack for a huge loss. Toledo punts 31 yards from inside their own 20 and the returner brings it back 31 yards.

Carson Steele has 188 yrds and 3 TDS already for BSU. Paddock only has 47 yards passing.

Thanks, ExCat21. As usual the MAC proved hard to pick this week. NIU comes roaring back at the end of the game for the W agains WMU. BG doesn't just get beat, but gets creamed by KSU. The only sure bet was Arkron losing to EMU, but the Zips made it close. The hardest call was probably UT-BSU, but UT prevailed at home.
