These rankings, #8 for Rourke and #45 for Wilgusz, based on what?

Does Wilgusz have another year of eligibility?

Yards. Rourke has 2208 yards. Sam has 510 yards. And Sam is a senior. So his plug-n-play experience has been vital to Ohio's success. And guys from big programs like him, can come in show guys how to practice the right way and that rubs off on other/younger players. We may not like O$U, but if a transfer can come in and help show other practice drills and ways to compete off the field...it helps on the field tremendously. I'm predicting that's what the chemistry is like. For Rourke to have several WRs over 300 plus yards...he's spreading that ball and everyone is getting shares. Puts pressure on DC to come up with a scheme. Do I blitz Rourke or hope he makes a mistake? I'm sure NIU will blitz so hopefully we have some screens and quick throws to counter. We definitely have a solid group of WRs who can make plays.

I think everyone gets 12 years to play 8 now. :)

the Maple Missile, but less of a tongue twister would be the Maple Leaf Missile.

I like it!

Its gameday. Woke up early and realized this team could literally be the 2006 team. We lost our 1st game (against BG after the pre-game locker room incident) and went on a 7 game conference win streak. The "over the hump" game was Kent State and freshman QB Julian Edelman. This game is similiar. Only difference is 2006 team used the run to set up pass. This 2022 team uses the pass to set up the run. Question is....can the defense continue to dominate and finish.

Offensive MVP - James Bostic 6 catches 128 yrds. 1 TD

Defensive MVP - Bryce Houston 11 tackles

Special Teams MVP - Nathaniel Vakos 3/3 FG

Lets go Bobcats!

I'll make the radical guess that this will be a defensive battle. Ohio wins 27-17.

Starting off right. NIU defensive line is really slow. If we can get to the outside on the run it will open up the pass even more. Some zone or guard pulls maybe.

Great win! This team has some MOMENTUM building. Sure wish Toledo hadn't choked away that game against Buffalo... that puts pressure on our boys to go unbeaten the rest of the way. Buffalo has a pretty light schedule other than its trip to Athens.

I didn't hear what happened to Bangura. Anyone have insight on his injury? Sure hope we have him ready for Buffalo.

I thought he got brought down on his shoulder when a couple of guys landed on him. Was shown on the sideline with pads off and shoulder being ice wrapped. No idea if it’s a significant injury.

I was at the game so I am just reading the board. Not many comments considering.

So far the East has a slight winning record in crossovers. But this is sort of why the MAC was the lowest rated FBS conference in 2021 and is likely to be again in 2022. The West has fallen down to the East's previous level more than the East has risen to the West's previous level.

Love this team taking advantage of down MAC foes and grabbing Ws.

Being 5-3 (3-1) is way better than I could have dreamed of. I am enjoying this team quite a bit.

Rourke was down but came through in the clutch. Wiglusz is Mr. Reliable. Praying Bangura will be all right.

MASSIVE game next week against the Buffs. GO CATS!

Really good win today! Only disappointment was the student side. Ridiculously few kids in the stands compared to Homecoming Saturday!

Unbeaten is almost the only option to keep pace with Buffalo. Kent State loss could come back to haunt us at some point.

If I recall correctly, Bill Hess's teams had days like this. His teams were very well disciplined most years.

The student attendance has been good this season until today.

Great win for the Bobcats. Northern is still an athletic and physical team despite their limitations passing the ball.

I really like Thomas Hammock, the NIU head coach. The team's having an off year this year due to injuries, but he's an excellent coach and will have them back in contention soon.

They are the defending MAC Champs. NIU won Detroit and Kent won the East. Ohio's performance against Kent on the road wasn't bad by any means either.
