We've got Ohio finishing third in the MAC East and going bowling. Temple seems a little too strong and Buffalo seems like they could surprise some people. Still, it should be a great season for the Bobcats.

3rd in the MAC East would be a major disappointment, IMO.

Agree on that. Does TMD have picks from last year to see how they stacked up vs what happened?

Putting the East prediction aside for a minute ... Toledo to win the West (?)

Whenever I see something like this it stirs the recollection of a Frank Solich comment of several years ago about just how difficult it is to win in the MAC.  Conventional wisdom sees Northern Illinois atop the West -- convincingly.  But conventional wisdom is irrelevant come Saturday afternoons (or whenever the games are played).

I'm on the Toledo bandwagon. I think they win the West this year AND the next two seasons after that. I really like Boeckman. A lot.

Then I think he'll get a Big 12 job and leave UT high and dry again.

A third place finish in the MAC East this year would be a colossal failure for Ohio. This is the year they have to raise the bar. There is no other power in the conference, so if they're going to win in Detroit, this is the year. If they take third in the East, I think there will be some headscratching being done on Richland.

This is why they play the game on the field, instead of in the media.   Ohio stays healthy, Ohio will win the MAC East.     3rd place finish ?  NOT GONNA HAPPEN ! ! !

I think its a three horse race in the East, but not including Buffalo. IMO, our most important game of the year is at Kent State. If we dont win there, you may was well forget about winning the East championship the next game against Temple. Lots of crazy things can happen between now and then, but I see it coming down to Bobcats, Owls, and Golden Chickens (not necessarily in that order).

"Can't" can -- well-coached team, and with a healthy Eugene Jarvis ...

Is my schedule printed backwards?  It has the Temple game on Nov. 16 and the Golden Flushes on Nov. 26.
