Boeh wanted to give Brian Knorr a couple more years. Did you like that strategy too?

Ditto...But that's only made possible by the fact that I forgave him for...
"The University tapped Knorr - the only Air Force Academy graduate ever to nab a Division 1 head football coaching post - because, as Athletics Director Thomas Boeh puts it, "he was very well-prepared, passionate, thoughtful, and he was ready.""
When he said...
"We are thrilled that Frank Solich will lead the Ohio football program into a new era and reclaim the winning tradition in Peden Stadium. For many years we have talked about the characteristics that we look for when recruiting and hiring a head coach and Frank, without question, embodies the 'whole package.' His 38-year track record relative to integrity, leadership, commitment to academic success, and winning football programs makes him the dream choice for Ohio."
And because he initiated the Victory with Honor fund...
I have no doubt we wouldn't be where we are without him...But Knorr's ludicrous first time Head Coach contract was what knocked us off of a hard fought Grobe era road to recovery to begin with...
