We are Team No Respect.
We must tough up and play with chips on shoulder.
Monroe,
If we set our "chips" aside along with our "blinders" and, for the sake of discussion, conclude that there might be something of substance behind the opinions expressed by Rivals.com, then either we are
delusional in OUr viewpoint about the strength of OUr team ... or the MAC in general is on the rise.
After studying the Rivals.com MAC preview, I realize that our supposedly "favorable" schedule is potentially filled with potholes, beginning with Toledo. And that anybody thinking Kent, Miami or Bowling Green is a walkover is a cousin of Donald. That is, "Daffy."
When you add in Temple, Ohio State and Marshall, you start to see the season in a different light: a grind. At least potentially.
I'm back to the early Frank Solich comment about parity in the MAC. And I'll tag it with my own observation that between about No. 15 and No. 85 or 90, there is generally so little difference that regardless of who is playing whom, do not bet the farm on the outcome.
