Nice read.   While not exactly a hotbed for recruiting there are some pretty good players here in Montgomery County.  Just make sure they stay away from the high school my sons' will be going to, Walter Johnson SHS.  Nothing to see.

But the Bobcats are not all the way there yet — they lost both bowls, and have never won a MAC football championship.

The Bobcat teams from 1953, 1960, 1963, 1967 and 1968 are confused.

And if the writer was referring to the Solich -era only, using the word 'never' there is rather imprecise.

I'm guessing he was referring to the actual MAC Championship Game although I could be mistaken.

In a somewhat related note, the band O.A.R. hails from Rockville, Maryland in Montgomery County. The band members attended OSU, but they played shows frequently in Athens.

Hopefully WJHS is better at teaching Liger drawing skills!
