Just got back from delivering the Smoker/Cooker to TailGreat Park,  Got the same spot in the Cherry Tree's, Looking forward to meeting some new face's tomorrow and also looking forward to seeing some old friends.

Bobcatattackers,  Don't be shy, stop in and say hi, Grab a Burger or a Brat,  with some Cowboy Beans and an ear of roasted Sweet Corn and let's talk Ohio Athletics.   There's gonna be plenty of food to go around, so stop in, even if it's just to say hello.   See you in TailGreatPark !!!!       GO  BOBCATS  !!!

I'll be there at 3 pm setting up.

Tailgating will be from 4 pm til Kick-off,    It's On !!!

I'm envious, haven't been back on campus in 10 years, haven't been back during the fall in 15. Eat drink and be extra merry for all of us that can't make it!

After a meatgrinder of personal turmoil over the last several months, I'm going to thoroughly enjoy getting to A-town early, walking around a bit, hitting the bookstore and tailgating, and watching me some football. Looking way forward to a day of decompression.

Buns were a bit stale

Joking aside, thanks for another great spread and the hospitality GMan!  I thought it was a great turnout.  I had some very nice conversations with the Mikes from Wofford as well!  Great to meet everybody!

Nice turnout,  glad to see everyone again and nice to meet some new Bobcatattackers,  We had plenty of food,  the conversations we're great, Ohio won the Football Game, and being named "Tailgater of the Game" was just icing on the cake.  I was upset that when they announced it during the game, that they didn't mention Bobcatattack Tailgating.  when they ask me who we we're,  I told them Bobcatattack , then they ask my name and I thought this is great, but it was bitter sweet for me,  when they didn't mention Bobcatattack.  But anyway,  thanks to those that brought food and drinks,  Don't know about anyone else,  but I'm in for the Toledo Game .    Let's Tailgate !!!!

I'd like to give a shout out to the 2 mike's from Wofford,  Nice to meet you two guy's at the Bobcatattack Tailgate, so glad you joined us., Hope you enjoyed your time in Athens. Well except for the loss. Good Luck to the Terriers on the rest of their season.

Great job Gman!  I love that Cowboy Chili and all the rest of the food and fixins.  It was a great feast.  I also agree that the Terrier fans who came to the tailgate were very nice fellows.  We had some interesting conversations about football and some historical topics.

That and more, my dear, Jeff.  And, they were most gratious about it.  I even told them that the old general was born just up the road a piece in one of our branch cities and raised by one of our first graduates (Tom Ewing).  It was in all a very civil discussion about The Late Rebellion.  Crabbie Terrier and his friend even told me a story or two about the Late Unpleasantness.  For instance, I was told about how the locals fooled the Yankees into burning down the wrong church in Columbia, S.C., by telling them that the seccession vote had taken place down the street at the Presbyterian Church, thus saving the church where this event had actually occurred.  Believe it or not, Jeff, in the year of our Lord 2010 gentlemen can exchange information about The War without exchanging blows!   Who says we haven't made progress in the last 150 years!

Edit:  Crabbie Terrier, if you read this message please note that the flag in my avatar is the 78th Ohio Veteran Volunteer Infantry's regimental flag.

Well, my little jab was tongue in cheek...but when you mentioned discussing "history" with our southern guests, I just had an inkling of what was involved...glad you folks were able to have a cordial discussion about it...

Yes, Jeff, I saw your "smiley face" so I knew you were benig your normal surly self!   Seriously, I really liked our southern guests.  Very nice folks.  In fact, I was invited to have a beer "on the house" at Mike's Crab House the next time I'm in Myrtle Beach, S.C.  Now, that's Southern Hospitality with a capital "H."
