I'm not gonn' predict a score.  But we need to win this one decisively.  Decisive win, good.  Close win or less, bad.

According to Troop on Twitter, Bates expects to play this week. He also expects Brazill to play but that Gerald Moore is questionable.

Looks like the folks over on the Toledo fan board don't think much of Ohio, mocking the passing game, saying Western will be a tougher game for them and they're in trouble for the season if they can't beat us.   I predicted a loss to Toledo in my pre-season guesses so I will take any win we can get.  As far as those saying we need  to win big.  I'll take a 1 point win and go away happy.  We had way too many rough spots in the first game to get very giddy about our chances IMO.

this should be a good week. Glad I can make it too this one(at michigan last week). Oddsmakers must see something they like , ohio is 7 point favorite at rivals. After what I saw from toledo on friday night I like our chances to win big in this one.

The two deep from the Game Notes does not have Donovan Fletcher listed. I hope that is an oversight and he is healthy and ready to go.

He is healthy, just in a rotation at FS.

Open it up big time in this one. Get the passing game vertical in a hurry and salt this away so we can concentrate on OSU. I'm hoping for a blowout, but my gut tells me Toledo brings a bit more than they did against Arizona. Plus, we always suck against Toledo. I still think we win though.

Someone's gotta be our opponent when we earn victory #500, so it might as well be Toledo at home on Saturday night.

I thought I saw Fletcher go down in the 4th quarter v. Wofford.

I'm all for handing the 2nd loss of the season to a team that only scored 2 points in their home opener.

Bring on Twoledo.

Fletcher got banged up, but I thought it was earlier in the game.  On the sidelines by the students after a tackle I remember him coming up with a limp.  He tried to stay on for a third down, but a sub was sent in and he was late coming off.  I think shortly after is when we saw Dawson get his first action for us.

Been a long time since we beat Toledo.  Solich is 0-2 vs Toledo.   Hope we don't have  7 turnovers like the last time we played them.

We haven't beat Toledo since Reagan was president and Cleve Bryant was coaching Ohio in 1988. 4 coaches later and we still haven't beaten Toledo.

Thank GOODNESS!  I'd really hate to see Phil's season reduced after sitting an entire season to transfer to our fine team...Not to mention the fact that I think the constant threat that either he or Boo could come trotting out poses very real issues for opposing D's.  These kids are going to take us a long way this year!

Here's hoping Moore is nothing too serious!

OHIO is favored by 7. This sounds about right although I was thinking it could go as high as 10.
As Gordon Getko once said "I want to win this one by a couple of touchdowns."

while I will admit that that mascot was pretty bad(can't say much for their present one either)you have never seen a bad mascot until you have seen the denison university mascot, looks like a cross between a cardnal and a chicken.

I love Twoledo talking trash about beating us while the most popular thread on their message board is "Wanted: Quarterback to Run the Offense."
