has got Ohio A&M right where he wants them.  We've played two games and he's given scouts zero indications of our offensive talent and no one has seen more than five percent of our playbook.  That's why we kept running all those unsuccessful crossing patterns and handoffs to WRs that were so easy to spot that the defense was waiting in the backfield and hoping to take the handoff themselves.  Over and over we ran the same five percent of the playbook.  Masterful!  Up in Cowtown they must be scratching their heads trying to make heads of tails of our offense.  It appears on the surface that we don't have one.  Next week when we reveal the rest of our playbook, those A&M folks will be so surprised.  Oh, that clever rascal Frank!

I seriously hope they didn't hold back or waste time on anything that wasn't for Toledo. Ohio State game means very little. A conference game like Toledo was far more important. That loss may cost us any chance at winning the East. With trips to Temple and Kent State our margin is slim. We now have to win out against the MAC. We better go 7-1, because 6-2 won't get us to Detroit this year. We used our mulligan on the first tee.  Now we gotten show up and play great football from here on out.

I was thinking the same.  Everyone is keying on our overwhelming talent at WR this year.  It only makes sense to throw off the D by sending them over the middle to get physically abused or run them towards the sidelines with the whole defense chasing them.  Its the perfect decoy for our vertical passing attack.

Whatever gets you through the day, OCF.

Personally, I prefer my Johnny Walker - Xanax spritzers. I get all the anti-depressant benefits with a pleasant old-man-smell aftertaste.

Ah, yes.  Like the fake punt from your own 35.  No, wait, they saw that with Jim Grobe in '99.  Rats.

By the way, did anyone catch the Toledo "recap" that was posted on the OU athletics website this afternoon.  Seven seconds of video from pregame warmups with Russ telling someone that he hadn't talked with Brazill or Notestine.  That was it.  Commentary from the athletics department?  It's down now, though.
