By reading some of osu's message boards it seems there fans are a little jealous of our town. It makes me laugh.

They root for a corporation.  We root for a college.

Athens was my home.

In my heart it will always be my home.

The sun was always just a little bit brighter.....the beer was always just a tad colder......the girls were always a bit prettier....the fun was always a lot more funner (is that a word).

Was it really as good as I remember?

I tried to drink away my recent memories in Athens Saturday night.  It didn't work.

Hell of a town though!

Oh yes it is, Doc!  Dropped off the daughter for her first year of college 2 weeks ago at OU and I swear, part of me felt I could just pick up where I left off 20-some years ago.  Stepping into (or is it onto?) Athens is like stepping into a cacoon protected from the harsh realities of the real world.  What I wouldn't give to be a freshman again.  So yes, OU/Athens is still great.

It was and it is. It gives me goosebumps thinking about the fact that I will be spending my 23rd birthday back home for Homecoming Weekend!

Beers DO taste better on Court St. and though the girls here at UD are very attractive, you CANNOT beat an OHIO girl!

A little bit prettier? A little bit?!? Talk about the understatement of BobcatAttack history! Best damn looking girls I've ever seen on a college campus (and I spent a year of grad school at U.Miami, Florida that is)

To quote the Scott Quad Trio "No matter what happens, my home is in Athens..."
