I know he was facing a great D with O-state, but I am beginning to feel his talents are needed in another position on the field.  Its clear he is a talented athlete but I have yet to see anything that says he is "the guy"  behind center.

I saw Frank this past week at Bdubs. He said that of all the talented RBs he's coached over the years, Phil has the intangibles to be a PRO RB. Unfortunately he just doesn't want to play runningback. Unless we have some phenomenal freshman QB sign in the upcoming class and Phil has an epiphany it looks we'll have to settle for a futile ground game.

Somebody's pulling your lariat.  The way he danced around on the 4th and 1 shows that he really doesn't have the instincts to hit the hole and get into the secondary.  The end zone camera showed two really nice holes to get enough for the first down and a bit more, and instead he tried to pop it outside and got swallowed up.  Vince got benched for that last year or the year before.
