Something for Coach Solich to draw upon for next week's game. We were two points better against Ohio State than Marshall was, and we are far less healthy for this game than Marshall was against OSU. Hey, I'm trying to find a silver lining here.......

Here are a few more:
The D played a helluva game in the 2nd half. On BTN they had a closeup of Pryor after the 2nd possession in the 3rd Q (where he got sacked) and he looked completely lost.
The O scored 7 points more against OSU than Marshall did (Marshall's TD came on a blocked FG).
Franshaw moved the ball well against a D that is probably on par with Marshall's; he actually had two passes that went for more than five yards. It would have been good to see him against OSU's first team, though, just for comparison with Bates.
Special Teams learned how to block punts again.
The 110 was the better band.

For anyone who gets WSAZ or BCSN the Marshall-BG game is currently on both stations. BG rolling so far up 21-0 early in the 2nd quarter.

And on the next play a long run from Booker, 21-7.

I have to disagree that the 110 was the better band. When we are marching at halftime, we simply don't keep up a strong clean sound. We also couldn't manage straight lines at the end of many formations. I didn't care much for "the halftime brought to you by warner brothers" (does everything have to have a sponsor?) that osu put on, but they sound great marching or standing still.
