Well, seeing as how there has been a lot of confusion on how to buy tickets through OU, you can definitely add to that number, because about 20 of my friends and I bought tickets directly through Marshall.

Unfortunately, I almost always have to buy my tickets through the opposing team because I hardly ever know if my work schedule will allow me to go until it is too late to buy them through Ohio. I just bought two tickets today. Probably will have to do the same next week at EMU.

Hey - they stole that from MLS!  Cover up the seats that are never, ever, going to sell.

In the case of the Marshall game, I just don't see the interest from any but the most dedicated OU fan (and those in SE Ohio, at that).  The bloom is off this Bobcat rose and who wants to witness another loss to Marshall?  Too little at stake to load up the kids and head south - from just about anywhere.

I know what you mean!  I can't for the life of me figure out why no one wants to tailgate in Huntington...

I had planned on going to this game but now I am going too two games that have other teams with ohio in their name, even if it is d3 ball.  One of them actually is living up too their hype and is pretty good, ohio northern.

We got ours from the Marshall site as we preferred not to sit in the corner of the end zone which are the designated visitor seats. If selling more seats is your concern then offer better seats to the visitors ticket agent. Ohio does the same by offering visitors the seats in the corner but the savvy know not to buy the cheapies if otherbetter seats are available. Rest assured there will be more than 200 Bobcat fans watching Rufus hand Marco his cow pie hat.

What, you mean Marshall is also in on the Ohio State conspiracy and relegates the visitors to non-prime or even poor seats?

I will get mine from a Mountaineer fan who bought season tickets to Marshall for one game then has no use for the rest.  Just because we returned some of the $32 tickets for the corner of the endzone doesn't mean we aren't coming.  The way these two teams have started the season we'll be lucky to have the stadium half-full.  Casual Joe Sportsfan isn't coming out for this one Saturday night.

I don't have an inside source in Marshall's athletic department, but I know people who do. My impression is that they would be happy if your half-full prediction is true.
