Fellas, hope you guys can make it down tommorow. Come down and enjoy the day. There will be plenty of tailgating going on. The weather is supposed to be great.

Some of you might already be aware of this but if you are not, I learned last night that Marshall is sponsoring a fund raiser for the people affected by the tornado that hit a week or so ago in Athens. Hopefully before long things will start to get back to normal for everybody affected by that storm.

Here are the details on the drive to help out the people that were affected by the tornado. Mike Bartrum, former NFL professional and Marshall All-American will be there helping to collect the items

"Items that are needed include clothing, bottled water, canned food, coolers, sleeping bags and trash bags."

Lets all try to bring at least one thing on the list to help get these people back on their feet. The Giovannis they are speaking of is right across from the North End of the Stadium. They will be there from 11AM until 12 Midnight collecting goods.

I'll be there tomorrow night for the game, WAM. It's the only time this year that I'll be rooting against Marshall, but -- hey -- I'm still rooting for the Green & White! Very nice gesture on the tornado relief help. The people of Huntington have big hearts. That's one of the reasons that I really love Huntington and Marshall.
