BOBCAT BASH-OHIO vs. EMU

The Ohio University Greater Toledo Alumni Chapter is set to host a pre-game Bobcat Bash on October 2, 2010 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. for the OU v. Eastern Michigan football game. Join fellow alumni in the region for a day filled with food, games, music and a chance to win free Bobcat gear.

The event is $10 per attendee and includes your choice of hamburgers, BBQ chicken quarters, baked beans, pasta salad, fresh fruit salad, chocolate chip cookies, lemonade, iced tea and soda.

The Ohio University Alumni Association invites all Bobcats to join them in green and white spirit to cheer our team on to victory. To register for the event visit ohioalumni.org and click on ‘Special Events’ to find ‘Football Bobcat Bash’ online.

We're heading up with a few Columbus folks, and meeting some friends in Ann Arbor. Not sure if we'll hit the official tailgate, or do it ourselves yet. Anyone else making the trip?

We'll try to put the flag/pole up in case any other Bobcats want to meet up.

I love OU football, but I need a break.  This is a perfect weekend for our golf trip to Pinehurst.  Let's hope I'm the bad luck charm and the Cats win one I am not there to witness.  4 days, 7 rounds of golf and a Bobcat blowout would be just fine with me.

We'll be headed up for the game.  My niece attends EMU and has invited us for the game.this weekend.

I doubt we make it to the alumni tailgate as we'll most likely be tailgating in the parking lot.

Looking for a Bobcat road victory on Saturday!

Go 'Cats!

My wife and I will be attending the game and perhaps a tailgate. I'll be at work until 2 a.m. Friday night, so it might be hard to make the two-hour trip up there in time for that. I'm also hoping to convince my parents from Toledo to go to the game with us. I might be able to get them to go since ticket prices are pretty cheap. Also, a nice bonus I noticed is that parking is free.

For those of you traveling up there, be sure to take notice of the signs on US 23 just outside Ypsilanti that warn motorists not to pick up hitchhikers because of the nearby "correctional center."

Kent hoopsters don't have much interest in Ohio/EMU football anyways.

That is witty.
