The Bobcats tend to play better during the second half of games and the second half of seasons ... For whatever reason it takes Ohio an entire half to figure out what we want to do. Marshall was outscored 21-10 in the second half, just like they were outscored in the Pizza Bowl. Ohio needs to quick strike for 14 in the first quarter and not constantly play from behind.
This year, you are correct.
But in four notable games last year--BG, Buffalo, NIU, and Temple--we did the exact opposite.
In 2010 we did outscore opponents in the fourth quarter (97-68), but we also did so in the first quarter (85-72). It was actually the second quarter we were outscored (85-74).
