but according to espn.com we are not going bowling this year.

Projections this early in the season don't really mean anything at all, just something i stumbled upon and thought i would share with you guys.

Too early to call on a lot of these bowls.....

Last week ESPN predicted that 5 MAC teams would be in a bowl, this week only 3.

They had a MAC team in the Birmingham Bowl and the Dallas Football Classic, due to projections that one of the affiliated Conferences would not have enough teams qualified to fill their spot.  Same could happen with the EagleBank Bowl in DC (ACC # 9 vs. C-USA)

I'm pretty sure that ESPN didnt have us going bowling preseason either. I dont really read much into this. Lots of football still yet to be played, and lots of teams who were projected for bowls preseason (i.e. BYU) might not even make it there.
