Haven’t seen anyone else mention it, but we do in the newest poll.

Believe this puts us at #37. No way anybody could’ve predicted this. What a turnaround this year!

Not to put a damper on things, but I remember one year when PaPaL was coach we received a few votes for the Top 25. I think he admitted that he had a few friends who voted in the Coach's Poll. I think it was after he pulled what for his era was an upset. I don't actually remember any details. Maybe someone else on this board does.

The USA Today Ranking (not the coaches poll, their own sports crew’s rankings) currently lists us at 37.

Or perhaps they watched Ohio's last 4 games on TV and were duly impressed.

To that point, the winner of Tulane/UCF will effectively get that top G5 spot, right?

If we were able to pull out that OT loss at Kent we'd be on a 9 game win streak and definitely be ranked an din the mix for that G5 spot.

Unfortunately yes, the winner of Tulane-UCF for the AAC crown will be the G5 rep this year. The committee is completely ignoring 10-2 South Alabama and 10-2 Troy along with Coastal Carolina and Boise State.
