They should not accept the outcome and file a lawsuit. Especially if someone says something like this: : there is no joy in Granville. Mighty Brutus has struck out.”

Not a big fan of Michigan but I like this outcome very much. Take your “The” and shove it.

Haha..... "irrational" was the Chat response a week ago. Insistence that anyone who thought those Losers could win was "irrational". Interesting outcome. THe only irrationality is folks in Scarlet and Gray that want to fight or throw down anytime anyone does not blend in with the herd o sheep.

That same response in the chat room during the Ohio-UM basketball post-game mentioned that 1 win in the series doesn't make a winning streak. Wondering this Saturday afternoon if 2 straight wins make a streak.

Maybe the start of a streak but even that's a stretch. In Medicine we laugh when someone presents a "study of one" followed by a "series of 2"....hardly anything to present as evidence for a new procedure. IN athletics streaks seem to be more like the current Bobcat basketball streak vs Fiami....thinking maybe we are at 9 straight?

I love when the Buckeyes lose. I recall a time about 10 years ago when I was attending a conference in downtown Columbus. I would not be exaggerating to say that 90% of the people I saw were wearing OSU gear. I also attended a wedding of two Ohio University grads in Columbus who had scarlet and gray colors and the groomsmen were wearing red bow ties and cummerbunds. They even played “Hang on Sloopy” as a wedding dance. When they send Christmas cards, the whole family is wearing OSU gear. Completely sick.

I hear there are claims of officiating irregularities.

In a news conference at the Four Seasons landscapers this evening, Rudy Giuliani said he got a phone call from a man who said he spoke to a woman who heard from another man that he saw a cell phone video of the referees carrying maize colored handkerchiefs during the game. And of course it involves a team from Michigan, where all kinds of shenanigans go on.

Hang on Sloopy is a fine song. Its not the song's fault that it has been adopted by so obnoxious a fan base

It doesn’t matter that the McCoys (including Rick Derringer) are from Ohio, Long Train Running > Hang On Sloopy.

I was at a Bobcat wedding on the first Saturday of the football season during the O$U/Notre Dame game, hang on sloppy was played a couple times and the DJ insisted on updating us of the score throughout the night. I was prOUd of the group I was with, however, we all were salty. Bobcat weddings are a sacred thing and this DJ from Columbus was a serious buzzkill.

When I was in school at OU back in 2005, me and a buddy went to a house party somewhere in Athens and of course the TV was tuned to the OSU game. They lost to Penn State that night and some douche in a Ted Ginn jersey wanted to fight us because we were cheering on the Lions. It's uncanny how sensitive they are to any criticism or imbalance in the status quo. It never occurred to this moron that he was attending a party at a school not in Columbus.

My wife and I are both OU grads. We had a small COVID wedding in 2020 at Emeriti Park on campus, and then held a larger reception in Columbus in 2021.

Nearly a third of the reception attendees were OU alum, so we had the Bobcat flag flying and all sang "Stand Up and Cheer" near the end of the evening!

They'd really hate northwest Ohio. Almost as many Mich and ND fans up there as O$U fans. Because of the Blade's distribution area in Michigan they give the Wolverines almost as much coverage as O$U.

The calls I’ve seen to fire Day are ridiculous. How he’s “the next John Cooper” just because he’s now lost to Michigan twice. It’s a rivalry. Michigan struggled for a long time, but they’re now competitive. You win some and you lose some. Day has a 90% win record at OSU.

Ohio State has the most spoiled, entitled fan base in all of college football… maybe in all of sports.

I honestly feel a little bad for Ryan Day. It must be tough coaching for a team where winning any less than 100% of the time is a failure and you have the most irate, ungrateful fans.

Unfortunately one homecoming in Athens a few years back there was a small wedding taking place at Emerity Park. ALL involved were wearing scarlet and gray. Made me sick... and quite confused.

Having lived in Austin for a while, I can say without question I'd take Ohio State fans over Texas fans any day. Longhorn fans have all the sense of entitlement that Buckeye fans have, with half the wins to back it up. And frankly they and the wackos over in College Station deserve each other.

This is absolutely true. And its crazy how many buckeye fans have no clue about the NW Ohio support of the Wolverines.

I'm from east of Toledo (the Firelands as some may know it) but now live in Columbus city. People get thoroughly confused when I tell them my team is Ohio and that I hope the Buckeyes get embarrassed on a weekly basis.

I grew up in Grandview Heights. O$u season tickets have been in my family since the shoe was built over 100 years ago because of donations my dad's dad gave for the construction. My dad would take me to 1 game a year during my youth, but like my dad my allegiance was to Notre Dame and we typically rooted against o$u. In the late 1970s my high school buddies and I would walk from Grandview High School on Saturday mornings after watching film of our football game from the previous night to the shoe for a 1 p.m. kickoff. We wouldn't have tickets but would always find a way in, legitimately or not. We would then return on Sundays after church to play tag football on the shoe's astroturf. There would usually be about 4 games going at once, one on each quadrant.

Since the 1980s I have always rooted for 3 teams on fall Saturdays: 1a) Ohio; 1b) ND; 3) whoever is playing o$u.

My wedding, 25 years ago last week, was the night of an o$u/um game. Most of the attendees were Ohio grads (family and friends). "Stand Up and Cheer" was sung loudly and proudly at the reception.
