The Bobcats are an early 3 point favorite.

Surprised that we are 3 pt. favorites Saturday @ Miami. I actually thought it would be the other way around. I guess the numbers show our strong road record as what puts us over the top.

Anywhere I could find a link to the injury status of these players? I'm looking for more detail here...

Give me a break!  Can't watch it in person, can't watch it online, can't watch on TV, and I don't even know if I get 155.5.

I'll always remember the game a few years ago in Oxford when OUr fans dominated and started that across-stadium chant in the second half.  Good times...

I believe it was Ohio Homecoming 1976 with Miami in town after an impressive multi-year run with the graduated running back Rob Carpenter, the Redskins found themselves off to a rare 0 and 5 start.  During those times, the visiting team was located in front of Ohio's student section.  At about that same time there was a song being played to death on the radio with a line of, "More, more, more---how do you like it, how do you like it?"

The Bobcats started thumping the Skins and pretty soon a packed student section started a chant with a play on the above song of: " Oh and six, how do you like it, how do you like it?"  Over and over again--so annoying, It was as if we fans had practiced it before hand!  Their players were giving us dirty looks and one line backer type was going ballistic on the Miami sideline wanting to come into the stands and take out his anger.  Of course we eagerly encouraged him and perhaps that's when their team started considering using the chicken hawk as the new mascot.  What great taunting that day....

If only our band could make the trip this time, perhaps they could get banned again!

Here's to Gman's grill with 5 red chickens next year... And a look at how he cooked them up last time around.

I predict the Bobcats win a close low scoring game 17 - 13
The defense of both teams show up strong in this one.

We absolutely have the personnel (and now the attitude) to do just that!

Goldsheet says Ohio wins big - five star pick, meaning they are sure of it.

Ohio 30 - MIAMI-OHIO 16—Ohio can catch Miami in the MAC East
standings with a fifth straight series win over the RedHawks.  HC Solich’s tandem
QB system utilizing Bates & Jackson producing positive results for Ohio, and doubt
Bobcat defense will allow Miami QB Dysert (399 YP last week) or soph WR Cruse
(179 rec. yds) to repeat big CMU performances.

I thought Red/hawk/skins/preps were supposed to be smart? 4 = 4 straight over you retards! Of course, non of the students on that site probably attended any of the last 4 beatdowns. Now the wagon is filling up (which for them means plenty of room).

Considering the current Fiami streak, here's my suggestion for the offical theme for Saturday's fracas...

***Note***  As a Brown's fan, this was not easy to endorse but was too apropos to pass up...

I was there that day and yelling the chant. I remember the Miami player screaming at the student section. I also remember the Miami players knocking down some of our band members when they took the field before the game. That really got us going.

That's about as much info as there is. If you want to hear Solich discuss some of the injuries, he does so at the end of the press conference from yesterday. It's available on ohiobobcats.com. He doesn't say a whole lot more than what is listed, though. He said Carlotta is "doubtful," Notestine is "questionable," Gonzalez-Santos is "out" and Strum is "probable." He also mentioned Wosley has started running and doing limited practice and could play.

Ozone has gone from questionable to OUT for this week's game.  Bust trip has been canceled.

I've made a last minute decision to head to Oxford. Which section is the visiting section there? Where are bobcatattackers sitting? - Thanks in advance!

Me thinks Dak and A.J. play in this one.
