This is unfortunate and sad, but perhaps not all that surprising.  I hope that I'm wrong, and that the implications of this story are totally false.  That would give me great happiness.  Cleve, the QB, was a real star and is one of my favorite football players of all time.

What do you think he's more concerned about? The sh*t storm that's about to erupt regarding this or Boo breaking his record next week in Oxford?

I'd like to see one of our stat guru figure about a pass completion/per game average for each of Cleve's and Todd's varsity years and see how that compares with Boo and our current crop of WRs.  This would even out differences in the number of games played per season and the number of years of eligibility (three then, four now).  I suspect that looked at this way, the current guys have a way to go before they would break some of the records set in the 1960s.  But, this is only Boo's second season, so I may be wrong.

I could care less about the allegations, what gets me is his salary. That would put him as the second highest paid person in our Athletic dept. Just shows the difference in funding in college athletics today... We have a long long way to go...

Unfortunately anyone who knows Cleve is not surprised by this very unfortunate incident :(  Makes me sad for him and his family.

NOT a good sign if Gloria Allred is involved. She has represented women in sexual harassment cases against high profile clients like Tiger Woods (Rachel Uchitel & Joslyn James), OJ Simpson, Tommy Lee, Arnold Schwarzeneggar and she is rumored to be involved in the Brett Farve case.

I used to get pissy about the fact his career as an Ohio player and coach was never mentioned in any articles about his masterminding of Texas football operations

Maybe that's a good thing.

I heard he did it because the Miami game is this weekend and he wanted to one-up ROFLburger in the inappropriate alumni QB category. that's dedication.
