A good team would have buried 'kron by now.  We're just muddling around, waiting for the clock to hit 0:00.

This team needs someone(s) dressed in Green and White to get us together.   There's a difference between a bunch of guys in uniforms and a team.

That and we can't even run on 'kron.

Can you ever be freaking satisfied with anything?  This team played very well, they controlled the clock, the ground it out the tweaked and played with a few things but more importantly they got after Akron's ass and you complain about not winning by a big enough margin?????

Not to mention they have won by more than the professional spread makers have given in these disappointing wins...that alone helps to justify the team's play.  I felt the Cats could have named the score yesterday if they kept passing.  I don't think there was 1 play that was covered well by Akron yesterday, not to mention zero pressure on our QBs.  While our QB pressure wasn't that great in terms of sacks, we had their QB under pressure on many plays.

Let's put things in perspective, Monroe; it wasn't long ago that we were on the losing end of scores when we played the likes of BG and Akron.  Today we beat them with lopsided scores.  It seems that we have more talented players than they have.  Does this mean that Frank is now recruiting better players than our in-state MAC competition, or are we just doing a better job of player development?  What ever is the case, it's clear that OHIO football is getting better.  We certainly haven't arrived yet, but we are getting better and more competitive.  The only game we weren't competitive in this season was against a top five team, in their stadium, in a game in which we made a lot of mental and physical errors.

Good point, as usual, Wanamaker:  redhawk has already conceded based on our performance fs. mighty EMU, BG and 'kron.

Yes, we did what we should have against 'kron in terms of score.  But has our defense played a lockdown COMPLETE game this year?

We made stupd cow's qb look all world.

No defense, no rings.  No quarter back pressure...

Most pundits would say that Akrons classes were on a par with Ohio. Head to head many players made what has turned out to be the wrong choice, both Akron QBs (Nicely and Rodgers), RT Anderson, and CB Manley Waller, famous for stating that he chose Akron because they had more Malls.

Jeff--1) Isn't 'kron now officially the worst team in college football?  2)  They hit 21-34 on us.  3)  What's your opinion of redhawk's qb?

They don't give out extra points in the standings for blowout wins.  We got the job done and that's all that matters.  Let's go rob some gravy in Oxford.

It has been roundly discussed in some circles that many people simply skip over any post authored by Monroe.

I am now officially in that group.

Even Monroe's 74th post about Ohio games in Oxford actually being home games for the Bobcats?
