I asked this of someone in the ticket office and was told that they cannot give out this info.

Can't see what the big deal is.  It's not like this info is of any particular value.

The evidence shown in the box score says more season tickets are sold than ever before. Note the 5,000 is season ticket holders not season tickets so I would double that number for the amount of people in packages. I called about trying to purchase a 2 game tickets for the ULL slugfest in the Tower or Phillips club and was told those sections are pretty full. From a financial perspective the right move looks to be adding more premium chairback seats in the main stands.

That's not true. The 5,000 is tickets not account holders.

Believe what you want, there are NOT even 5,000 season ticket holders for basketball and football combined.  Why do you think they will not tell you?  File and FOI, you will see the actual numbers.

JCW,

Are talking account holders or tickets?

Not good, either way.  If it is 5000 season seats  sold, then you have about 2500 season ticket holders.  Probably less 'cause I imagine that few buy a single season seat--it's more likely that people buy more than two than they buy one.

Given the price of our season seats (about $90, right) this is very not good.

One could argue that the product you get is worth a bit more than $90.

I don't know how to do it, but there should be a BIG effort to get this to 8000 by kickoff 2011.  And to 12k pretty darn quick.
