I think Miami's soul just broke today...

1. Losing 5 in a row to Ohio.
2. 6 Turnovers
3. Maybe the most embarrassing 82 yard reception in history....

4. And they have to stay in that crap hole=Miami University

I've seen thousands of hours of football in my life, but I don't think I've ever seen a team that was trailing on the scoreboard take a knee just to turn the ball over on downs with time still on the clock. It's almost like the Miami staff didn't understand the rules. It was just plain weird to see two teams take a knee at the end.

I guess if we were truly bitter rivals we would have taken a shot at the end zone?

to paraphrase Ron White- "That team's got a lot of 'quit' in 'em."

They were afraid they'd find yet another way to embarass themselves.

This is how it reads on the play-by-play tracker...

I don't know what's the best part. Is it the fact that Ohio had to actually kneel down to end the game or that we committed a 5 yard substitution penalty due to extreme confusion?

4th and 7 at M-OH 35                                               Team rush for a loss of 3 yards to the MiaOh 32.
1st and 10 at M-OH 32 OHIO penalty 5 yard substitution infraction accepted. 34 13
1st and 15 at M-OH 37 Team rush for a loss of 1 yard to the MiaOh 38.
