For someone that has followed Ohio Football religiously since the 1970s (at times a very small congregation) it is amazing to read the negativity on this board after a win, a 6-3 record, and bowl eligibility. Get a bit of perspective -- Ohio now has a sagarin rating above teams that formerly would have been unthinkable all in a season where we all believe we should have two more wins.
Anyhow, the point of this is that going to a bowl, any bowl, against any opponent, is still good... but, if you really want something to play for consider that the Pizza Bowl pits the #1 MAC team against #8 Big Ten, which is very likely to be either a 7-5 Michigan or a 7-5 Penn State. If you want something to play for, there it is.
Actually, great points. Michigan would be fantastic, I think that would be the ultimate. They are obviously down, but you can't get a bigger name than that for the post-season. It would be really cool.
However, I have to wonder aloud what method of evasion our Administration would use to get us out of the Michigan game and into the Louisiana Monroe game.
