What about 'net access?  Still the same lousy MAC package?  Has that pkg been upgraded?  Will all games be 'net available?

Thanks for the update on kick time for the MU game!  Also, Monroe, while I haven't seen it publicized yet, I believe All-MACcess will continue to stream all MAC home games that aren't otherwise available.  Given that I haven't heard anything about it, I would assume the quality/reliability factors would be about the same, unless they announce that they've done some great upgrade.

Thanks, anorris.  Computer stupid, I guess, I couldn't get silverlight (or whatever the pgm is) to download last year so I couldn't get the MAC feed.  Funny thing is, there's an investing pgm I use which spontaneously gave me silverlight a couple of weeks ago.  Am bigtime ready to see some OHIO ball.

Keep an eye out for the Marshall game as well.  WSAZ's broadcast of Marshall @ BG is being shown on ESPN3, so it seems likely our game would be covered under the same contract.

I'm not saying that MAC Access is generally horrible and that channelsurfing.net may be an alternative but it worked for me for the Wofford.  I know it's possible to get a quality product out of MAC Access.  It's just amazing that in 2010 only about 10% of those who posted about what they got said that it worked.   Could it be a worse product.

Oh.  I guess I am saying that.

As of right now, no mention of the Marshall game on ESPN3.

Yep, I noticed last week that the BG game was actually a BCSN game that WSAZ was just rebroadcasting. So, unfortunately, it looks like BCSN has an ESPN3 deal, not WSAZ. Didn't know that at the time of posting.

To be fair, our game was only regional TV.    But if ever there was a team the conference didn't need to shine a spotlight on...

I've seen channel 53 in Columbus has been carrying a MAC game every Sat. Any chance we get any air time there? Any details on what the contract is?

They're one of the affiliates for the MAC Game of the Week (labeled above as an ESPN+ production).  That's the package Michael Reghi does, and we were featured on it against EMU two weeks ago.

O-H-I-O vs. sucks shapes up as the best MAC game of the year so far I'd have to think.

But no TV?!

Yeh, no TV for the biggest and longest running rivalry in the conference.
WHAT'S UP WITH THAT?
WHO IS MAKING THESE DECISIONS?
The conference should have a deal in place for last minute TV changes, ie OHIO @ MIAMI.

Toledo game and BG game both picked up by BCSN.  Add in the EMU/Virgina game is on ESPN3, and the Ohio/Miami game is the only non-televised game (or one of two if you don't consider ESPN3).

Some bad luck, and these things happen sometime, but that's just weird.

Flipping channels I saw 3 seconds of an ESPNU commercial for OUr game vs. the bills.  They noted 'dynamic Ohio quarterback Boo Jackson.'
