ESPNU showed Quinn having a lengthy monologue with Solich as they were shaking hands and Solich had a rather serious look on his face.  Something or nothing?

Yes inquiring minds want to know.

Was he whining about the Herman/Allen illegal block where the guy wasn't hurt anyway?

I hope not.

Maybe he was telling Frank that Ohio was one of the best teams that he's faced all year and that he hopes we win the MAC......ahhhhhhhhh...........the "you gotta be $hitting me" look on Frank's face tells me that probably wasn't it.

Don't read much into this, Frank always looks serious.

And I think the talk between Frank & Miami's coach was interestingly long also.

Probably something like "man you suck," (about 20 times).

yeah...I only coached junior high and freshman football...but the only long conversations were  the other coach chastizing my players like...."Hey # 65 bit my guards finger....whatta you gonna do about it.".....simple answer...".I'm gonna tell your guard not to stick his fingers in my d-lines mouth."

He warned Frank that at the next opportunity his players would do more than a little shoving and talking smack to the 110 like what transpired during pre-game on Thursday evening!  Only speculating of course.

Seems the Bulls were a little impatient to get to their side of the field with the band in formation to first let through the Senior Night procession and later the team entering through the Bobcat.  Some of the eager Bulls made their way through the end zone just as the 110 was doing their spirited march off towards the River end of Peden.  The officials blew it by letting the Bulls out of their pen BEFORE the band had made their normal exit. Some of the 110 were bounced around as the two groups intersected.

One fine upstanding member of the Bulls instead of getting physical like his team mates chose diplomacy  and used the "N" word in telling the girl to get the F out of his way.  The well instructed band held their position without further incident.  One coach immediately began complaining to an official who looked at the coach and said something to the effect, "Come on Coach, its only the band!"  So the first "contact" on the field wasn't the opening kick but actually occurred a few minutes before!

My speculation is he was closing the loop on something they were already working. Perhaps a matter about a future coaching position for a long time assistant coach who might not like head coaching or long for his current position. JMHO.
