A friend of mine actually met his dad recently and he mentioned Chad was doing this and was doing well.

I believe this is Chad's second full season in some capacity, he left the world of medical sales for this opportunity  Chad comes to town for business about twice a year, it is always great seeing him.

Great news about Chad, my all-time favorite Bobcat since my freshman year in 1981!

I had the pleasure of meeting Chad's Dad and sitting with his grandparents at the West Virginia game in 2001.  I will always remember Chad's grandparents cheering just as hard for Jamel Patterson when he was in the game as they did for Chad.  It said so much about their entire family and their perspective on life.

I wish all our players had Chad's determination and grit each game.  He was talented, but he it seemed like he played at full speed every play for his entire career.

My oldest son and I had the pleasure of talking to Chad while he was a player at Ohio. I think it was at one of the ox roasts when they were putting in the new grass field before re-doing it with field turf. We were watching them put the rolls of grass down when I turned around, he came out of the weight room and started talking to us like he had known us forever. I doubt if he ever knew a stranger.

He is a class act, and was a terrific player.

Good things do happen to good people.  I also enjoyed Chad as Derek's color man on the radio.  It was nice having someone who very recently had been on that field to give insights.  He got more comfortable with each game.

I don't remember him ever spending 5 minutes describing his wardrobe, as playful as that might have been.

Anyone else remember the OHIO Football commercials featuring Chad Brinker airing 2 years after he graduated?
