As a bystander in this game between Ohio and Temple it really irks me when my brotheren get a call wrong. Ohio clearly did not recover that fumble in the first quarter. The instant replay man should be removed from future games for getting it wrong. The ball is clearly under the Ohio LB #51 but not in his possession. The ball can be seen lying on the ground next to his knees when he lands on top of it. The Temple player dives towards the ball and pulls it into his arms while it is lying on the ground. Then he immediatly jumps up with the ball. The officials on the field just made a judgement call and didn't see what they called. As an official, you cannot make a call if you don't see it. Just because #51 jumped on the ball didn't mean he recovered the fumble. The replay shows the ball was not in his possession "ever" and then recovered by #84 of Temple. I don't care who wins - but it was a bad call. I hope the replay official gets dinged from the Supervisor of Officials tonight after the game.
