Could they possibly have chosen two worse commentators for this game????  Geeze, what idiots!    AND  could Temple come up with more "high school" dancing and fist pumping bullshit on the sidelines?  I'm surprised they don't do that thigh pad pounding "defense" chant!!!   BUSH league organization including a coach wearing only a white dress shirt in a driving rain.

I believe they call that dancing "swagger".  Sorry, I had to.

But I was just commenting to my friend, that it really is like a High School organization.

Worst announcing duo of all time and it had to be on a night where we have one of our biggest wins. What a giant J-O-K-E.

Couldn't agree more...The Deuce felt like the U.  Guess they had too many people tied up with that self promoting B Ball Marathon.  Not only was it again painfully obvious that they put about an hour into research, but it honestly seemd like they weren't even watching at times...

The color guy saying this was the biggest game in decades for Ohio almost made me turn the TV off. Would it have killed the guy if he actually looked in the media guide and saw that we've been in 2 bowl games and 2 conference championship games in the last 4 or 5 seasons?

It really was disgusting having to listen to their Temple "love fest" until the third quarter when they finally realized we were the much better team on the field. After that, they were completely bored, and had nothing more to contribute. My mute button got one hell of a work out.

Go Bobcats!

Did anyone else notice the starting lineups in the first few minutes showed LaVon as a starting WR?  Is it that hard to get this info at the worldwide leader?

Was my TV set not centered, or did the camera guy in the first half get lost on about 75% of our plays.  Boo with the ball was off my screen and he still had the ball.

I will however give the camera crew credit for providing as few shots of the crowd as humanly possible.  There were about 63 people in the crowd tonight.

Don't leave out those stellar camera shots through-out as well. How many times were they shooting something other than where the ball actually was. It would be hard to do a WORSE job of overall production than this outfit did tonite.

It makes me appreciate the work Evan does even more for Ohio Athletics.  It must be more difficult than it looks to capture the action through the lens.

The coverage is even worse on ESPN.com

The only highlight was the missed XP  http://scores.espn.go.com/ncf/recap?gameId=303200218

Thanks to everyone else who has commented for validating what I was also feeling.  I thought maybe I was just a little too biased. This broadcast may have been more painful than if it had been broadcast entirely by Temple University itself.

Yeah, they did a pretty bad job all around.  The camera was off the Ball A LOT.  I know Boo & Phil do a good job on the fake handoffs, but come on.  And I enjoyed Todd McShay's 10 seconds of analysis at halftime, which said something to the effect "Temple is the better team they just need to get it together."

I typically mute the tv when there is a female announcer...but I gave this one a shot.  The female did a decent job, but what the hell was up with the color guy!!!?  He was talking about Temple like they were a BCS team!  Their running back was a heisman trophy candidate (right behind Cam Newton I'm sure) and then later their quarterback looked a heisman trophy quarterback.  The he started talking about it being the biggest game Ohio had played in DECADES and how weak Ohio's schedule was!!!  Really!  They play in the same GD conference as Temple...THEY HAVE THE SAME SCHEDULE!!!!!

At that point I had to mute it...I would have left the volume on to hear the crowd noise, but the mic wasn't picking up the sound of the 5 people that decided to show up.

I loved it when the color guy was talking about our defensive line all being 5th year seniors and in at the moment was Jones, Huynh, Meyers and Scott.  I do not think he was watching the game.  He mentioned wanting to watch the basketball games, maybe he was watching that.  He certainly had a love fest for Temple, I guess we were just lucky to be playing them...what a douche!
