Not surprisingly, Bobcat offense in Detroit is a no show. Better get it going in half 2.
We are up against the #1 defense and are without Kurtis. I think CJ has done well. I wish they had kept the ball on the ground with 5:00 to go instead of the deep throw for the INT. We were moving it consistently on the ground at that point. If we're without Keye and Torrie a few guys will need to step up.

Yes that was a horrible throwing it up there. Cj clearly doesn't have touch for the deep ball yet. We were starting to push them and threw it away. All momentum lost.

No show? Maybe it’s the fact Toledo’s D is pretty damn good and our offense is somewhat limited with our 3rd team QB.

How bout instead, applaud the effort you are getting from these young men.

Yeah I think Finn’s healthy, or at least healthy enough.

If Kurtis is available we win by 3 scores. CJ just not ready for this stage.

Agreed. I think it’s clear that without Rourke playing today, Toledo is just better right now, they’re just plain deeper. Ohio’s down 3 of their best players, including the MAC Offensive Player if the year. That’s hard to overcome.

Game’s not over though. Hold them to a field goal and the game ain’t over.

We’ve been unable to stop them on third and long. Killing us.

No doubt about effort. But 7 points? Stop making Toledo out to be Alabama. Detroit is kryptonite to our offense

This x a million.

Needed to play from the lead with ball control for CJ. Didn't happen.

I think it’s more like Kevin said, just a lack of trust in the QB. And our defense has to be gassed.

Very conservative play calling. I had some hope in this game but it's a tough situation to be in. 3rd string QB starting against the best defense in the MAC.

You fair weather fans would be better not posting than making total asses of yourselves. Then again you can teach "class".

Congrats to the Cats for a great turnaround year and persevering in light of some debilitating injuries.

All things considered I felt CJ did as well as one could expect after Kurtis went down.

Tough loss. Injury bug bites again at the wrong time. I'm still prOUd of our Bobcats and I know we will get over the hump. I have faith that the program is headed in the right direction post-Frank. Thank you Seniors for stepping up. Let's get ready for the bowl game.

Been a better season than expected. Not going to pile on but I just find it funny we're a football school who hasn't won our own conference in over 50 years.

The loss ultimately just means we're in the vegetable bowl instead of the grocery store bowl. It is what it is. Still a positive season.

Not that it mattered in final score but 2 drops of perfect passes in our last possession.

I feel like the score could of been much worse. Not that it really matters but for the casual person looking at the final score, 17-7 doesn't look too bad LOL

Agreed. Props to Toledo-right now preeminent team in the MAC. And their defensive coordinator Vince Kehres is a great coach with obvious football lineage.

I’m still excited by Ohio as with Kurtis, they’re as good if not better than Toledo. And I’m still excited by the bowl opportunities. Ohio’s the 2nd best team in the MAC and that should get them something. Let Eastern Michigan get the Quick Lane Bowl; Ohio’s seen enough of Ford Field!!!

Agreed. Great effort. I enjoyed going from hopeless to Detroit. This was one fun season. Let’s get ready to defend the Frank in ‘23!!

Great season but also went back to ultra conservative mode in yet another MAC title game. CJ had the shackles on...weak.
